Before I started working professionally with gemstones and jewelry design, my professional life was oriented in a completely different direction. When we talked in the company or among acquaintances about who had what hobby, they found out that I had a very well-mapped world of diamonds. Gradually, they began to actively approach me to help them with the selection and purchase of precious stones.<\/p>\n

From hobby to profession<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n

I have been toying with the idea of \u200b\u200bmaking the world of gemstones accessible to the wider public for quite some time. The right time came in 2014. I decided to turn my hobby into a profession and together with my wife we \u200b\u200bfounded the company Trones. The idea and the name of the company have their roots in Norway, specifically in the neighborhood where we lived at the time and where it all began. Since then, Trones has undergone various modifications, variations and improvements.<\/p>\n

In our early days, we sourced our jewelry from India, and we only offered gold and diamonds. Our clients could choose from a wide variety of jewelry, but we had no influence on the design and we did not have full control over the goldsmithing.<\/p>\n

When, after 4 years of working with jewelry, my hobby knowledge was no longer enough, I started studying Gemology at the University of Applied Sciences in Nitra in 2018 and turned my lay passion for minerals into professional knowledge.<\/p>\n

My vision for Trones was to obtain the highest quality stones directly from the countries and places where they are naturally mined. Therefore, we began to look for ways to become part of the highest structures of the gemstone trade. Over time, we managed to build cooperation with prestigious global suppliers, thanks to which we can individually import practically any gemstone for you. It is important to note that we are based on Fair Trade. We cooperate with verified global suppliers who obtain stones ethically and, most importantly, we pay attention to safety. Whether when importing jewelry, storing it, or handing it over to the customer.
